CNM 5.0 32 bit

Note: July 7, 1999

Approximately 350 copies of the CNM 5.0 CD-ROM have been sent out to past users and those requesting the model.

The following items have been brought to our attention by users of the CNM 5.0 CD.

Note: April 7, 1999; The CD is complete and being printed at this moment.

Note: October 27, 1998; We are in final testing stages and finishing up the Users Manual, CD printing will begin in the next couple of weeks.

CNM 4.3 and 32 bit 5.0

Note: August 31, 1998; Code has been added for acceleration and REMEL adjustments for vehicles traveling on grades.

Note: July 20, 1998; Atmospheric absorption (ANSI s1.26) code has been added to CNM 5.0 along with REMEL and acceleration modifications for vehicles traveling on grade, a new Turns wizard has also been added. Preparation of the CD's has been delayed again and we are as anxious as the users.

Note: January 5, 1998; Some systems may experience an installation message "VST4 failed to register", this does not adversely affect the installation of CNM 4.3, its only purpose is to inform that the VST4.exe will not self remove during uninstall of the CNM 4.3 package.

Note: November 24, 1997; We have sent the CNM 4.3 to about 2/3 of the registered users so far. Please be sure to remove the vst4.exe and cst4.exe files from your CNM directory BEFORE installing the CNM 4.3, the install package may not write over the old .exe files.

Note: November 4, 1997; The CNM 4.3 is being sent out to users as of this date. Before installing the CNM 4.3 please remove all .exe files on your computer that are found in the CNM directory.

Note: October, 1997; An updated version of the 16 bit CNM is in final stages of testing and will be sent out in the second week of October. This version includes many updates and user friendliness improvements, some of which came from our presentation of the model at InterNoise '97 in Budapest, Hungary.
