Testing Equipment
The UCF Community Noise Lab is capable of performing many types of noise impact analyses.
Some examples of this testing are described in the "Activities" web page.
The list below contains some of the equipment in use at the UCF Noise Lab.
- Metrosonic dB308 Sound Level Analyzers
- Rion SA27 1/3 Octave Band Analyzers
- Calcomp 4'x 5' Digitizing Tablet
- Multiple height u, v, w Weather Station including R.M. Young aspirated thermometers
- Ivie IE-30A 1/3 Octave Band Sound Level Analyzers
- Sun Work Station
- the FHWA mobile testing van, fully equipped
- TASCAM Digital Audio Tape Recorders
- FHWA Traffic Noise Model
